FLIP CARDS - RULES OF THE ROAD

These flip cards depict situations that are likely to occur when inolved in traffic at sea. In each case you are in command and are looking forward from the various vessels (power driven, fishing, and sailing on both tacks) at a situation that is developing. You are invited to decide what to do in each case before turning the card to see the correct course of action on the reverse. the relevant rule is also stated. Where your vessel is approaching or involved in a separation scheme this is indicated on the face of the card. In some cases your proposal is to anchor and this is depicted by an anchor in readiness on the foredeck.
